Hello. Can you tell me how the jute rug compares in texture (softness) and color to a natural sea grass rug?
Answer:
The jute will be slightly softer than sea grass, but both rugs are nice to the touch. In fact, most customers do not notice a major distinction between the feel of jute and sea grass. The jute natural color is lighter (more like a khaki or tan) than the sea grass. The sea grass rug will be a little more browner. The sea grass also comes with 4 borders. The jute does not have a separate color border.

Is the backing of this product suitable for an exterior front door mat under a porch cover?
Answer:
These particular rugs are made for indoor use. We do have some door mats that are made expressly for outdoor use; see Outdoor-Mats on our site. We're also expanding our line of door mats, so you'll see more styles on bambeco.com in the next few weeks.
