Answer:
The Zatar Ribbed Jute rug is made with a mixture of wool and jute fibers. The color is predominantly off-white, but with taupe mixed in. You can see a close-up if you look at the third alternate image on the product page (http://www.bambeco.com/Area-Rugs-and-Door-Mats/Anji-Zatar-Ribbed-Jute.asp). From a distance, the off-white and taupe colors seem to mix together, making the rug look more taupe overall. Because of the large percentage of wool in the rug, we would recommend the rug to be professionally cleaned. Using a steam-cleaner or chemicals on wool can remove the natural oils, wearing the rug out sooner.
