The 16 oz. bowls are also durable enough to last decades-they can literally be used thousands of times. For this reason, we chose a textured material on the plate to hide utensil marks. The curved shape offers improved sturdiness.  In fact, reuse forever (or return it to us and we will). Preserve kitchen and tableware products won't degrade when heated, though we don't recommend using them in the microwave.
