One of the loveliest and easiest bonsais to grow, the Gardenia is renowned for the richly scented, delicate white flowers that bloom from May to June. A nicely-branching, evergreen shrub in the wild, the Gardenia responds well to pruning, making it ideally suited to the creation of informal, upright tree-like forms.
