Architecturally inspired, this classic motif emulates the ornate trellis work of European gardens. Made from 55% linen and 45% cotton with low impact dyes.
Linen is a textile made from the fibers of the flax plant. Linen textiles appear to be some of the oldest in the world. Their history goes back many thousands of years. Fragments of straw, seeds, fibers, yarns, and various types of fabrics which date back to about 8000 BC have been found in Swiss lake dwellings.
The patterns are created using low-impact dyes. They contain no heavy
metals or other known toxic substances, are azo and formaldehyde free,
and meet all criteria for eco-friendly pigments. During the
manufacturing cycle, the fabrics are cleaned using eco-friendly
laundering methods, which means low-impact detergent and cleaning
products, cold water wash and no chlorine bleach. We also encourage
our customers to do the same when they launder their linens.
