Ask a Question

Question:

What sort of lighting do these require? If they will grow in an office environment under artificial lighting, I'll be buying one!

Answer:

The Sedum Terrarium Bottle would be perfect for your office desk. Sedum like indirect to direct light, and artificial light is fine as long as it is well lit. As far as temperature goes, Sedum will be happiest if the temperature doesn’t drop below 60-65 degrees Fahrenheit.

Question:

What kind of seeds come with this? Can it be used to grow an herb garden?

Answer:

Our Sedum Terrarium Bottle kit contains a mix of several varieties of sedum seeds. The reclaimed bottle container would be too small for an herb garden. If you are interested in growing an herb garden, see our Reclaimed Wine Bottle Grow Kits or our Garden-in-a-bag Organic Herb Collection.

Question:

How do you manage to mist it without "soaking" the plants nearest the opening and having the ones near the bottom of the bottle remain dry?

Answer:
