Earthenware

Our earthenware collections personify the age old natural beauty and functionality that it has been known for, for millenniums. It’s interesting to know that pit fired earthenware dates back to as early as 29,000–25,000 BC. Even though Earthenware dates back for ages, its beauty and function is just as relevant today as it has ever been.

All of our earthenware collections celebrate 100% organic materials in simple natural forms. Each piece is hand glazed in order to create a waterproof vessel. Our collections represent a study in simplicity that truly embodies the earthenware tradition. Each piece is hand-made of terra-cotta by artisans in Portugal and is quite unique; some small irregularities in the finish may reflect the mark of the artisans' hand.
